Omokoroa Golf Club Board Election 2026

Notice to Eligible Voting Members

Voting for the 2026 Omokoroa Golf Club Board Election will open at 5:00pm on Tuesday, 11 August 2026 and close at 5:00pm on Monday, 24 August 2026. Once voting has closed, no further votes will be accepted. Eligible members may vote for up to four (4) nominees standing for election to the Board.

Online Voting

The Club has engaged an independent auditor to manage the online voting system and process, ensuring the election is conducted in an accurate, transparent, and fair manner.

To vote online, members will be required to enter their unique 7-digit membership number before casting their vote. The system will:

• Validate membership numbers against the database of eligible voters.
• Count only votes submitted by eligible members.
• Flag duplicate voting and will only be accepting the first vote received from each membership number.
• Reject any subsequent votes submitted using the same membership number.

Paper Voting Option

For members who do not have access to a computer or who prefer not to use the online system, paper voting forms will be available from the Golf Shop/Office during the same voting period.

Each paper voting form will be issued through a controlled process and linked to the member's unique membership number. Completed forms will be placed into a sealed box and securely held until voting closes. Following the close of voting, the sealed box will be opened and verified before those votes are entered into the election system.
